About Unity In Harlem

Unity In Harlem is dedicated to learning and teaching how to apply spiritual principles to all areas of our lives. Our goal is to experience more love, more joy, more health, more abundance and more overall satisfaction.

Our Sunday service, led by Rev. Carol Hunt, includes prayer, meditation and a special message from Carol or special invited guest speakers.

The Unity in Harlem Study Group also meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm to study and discuss books by leading New Thought writers including Myrtle and Charles Fillmore, the founders of Unity.

Unity In Harlem has been around for more than forty years. Its first location was on 125th Street and the group, then called the Unity Universal Center, was led by Flash Washington. The group’s next minister was Mary Alice Brown and she was followed by Bea Copeland.
